THE POWER OF A DREAM...

Richard Branson once said that if your dream doesn’t scare you then your dream is not big enough.

Well, everyone dreams. I doubt there is anyone who has never had a dream of some sort.

The problem is however most people just dream small because of what they see in their situation as being ‘Realistic Expectation’ It’s not that they don’t dream just that they have missed the point to the dream. DREAM BIG!

When you were a kid you probably went around saying you were going to be a Fireman or Astronaut when you grow up of a Movie Star or the Prime Minister or President. The fact is as a child you were not afraid to dream. Your imagination was immense, that is, until the grown-ups pulled you back down to earth.

You see, the adults put the limitation on your dreams by telling you to be realistic, that people from where you come from don’t get to be Footballers or MP’s or even Movie Producers. They become Secretaries or work in a Bank or Supermarket.

It’s only the kids who come from a background of privilege who believe they can be anything. They get taught to believe they are better than you or me. Nothing wrong with the mindset if it is applied to everyone, but it can do.

Often we think about what others think of us and let that dictate our future. Peer pressure or social dogma.
However, it does not have to be that way. You have the ability to think freely and make your own decisions.

What is it you really want?

What is your DREAM?

Put yourself first before letting someone else steal you dream by putting you down. Nothing is out of bounds if you believe you can have it.

Life is like a painting canvas, you can make of it what you will. Why not draw what it is you want rather than let someone else tell you what should be on the canvass?

So, as we approach Christmas ask yourself if you could have anything what is it that you really want? What would that be?

If you open your heart and mind to possibility you’ll begin to realize that you are capable of so much more.

Decide today to become a POSSIBILITARIAN…Because anything and everything is possible.

The Art Of Visualisation

So, the books tell you learn to visualize to manifest what it is you want. That however is not just day dreaming or wishful thinking. There is more to it than that.
Take the true story of Jim Carey. The crazy bloke in ‘Dumb and Dumber’ and ‘The Mask’ movies. It may not be related to your career or business but it certainly highlights the point very well.

In 1985, Jim Carey was ‘A Nobody’ in acting terms struggling to just survive in Los Angeles.

The story goes that each night he would go through the exercise of visualization by driving up Mulholland Drive and imagining himself working with all the noted directors, best actors and being congratulated by them on his work. I’m sure that feeling felt good to him being patted on the back and receiving accolades from the industry. However, it was just a dream, a wish, nothing more at that time.

He also is allegedly to have written himself out a nice little cheque for the cool sum of a $10 million and placed it inside his wallet. Thus setting his intention out there to the universe.

Each day he would take it out and look at it, focusing on the future he wanted to bring about.  That meant finding ways to get opportunities in front of himself and his acting career on the launch pad. The image in his mind burning daily was that one day he would be paid $10 million by someone for doing something he loved.

Nine years after writing that cheque he was offered $10 million to appear in the movie Dumb and Dumber.

Now that is the kind of visualization that makes you think does it not?
But as Jim Carey himself said, ‘You also have to take action; you can’t just imagine it and then do nothing’. Thought or desire without action is worthless.

However, consider the combination of desire and belief in something and of course that catalyst ingredient – ‘action’ – That is what brought that cheque of $10 million into reality.

But it won’t happen to bring your dream to reality if you take no action and do nothing. There are plenty of daydreamers out there. You need to be very active and persistent about what it is you want. Do something even if it is the smallest thing as long as it is in the direction of realizing your dream.

Now, if you really want that dream you must help it grow from mere thought.
So, take action today and take it now. The first step is always the hardest but without it you are going nowhere.

Make Your Dreams A Reality With These 4 Easy Steps

Do you have a dream that excites and inspires you... but deep down you think it's impossible to achieve?

Too often people give up on their dreams because they let fear stand in their way?

They fear they might fail, they fear they don't have what it takes to be successful or even worse, they believe at the core of their being that it's simply not possible of
them to achieve.

But in reality, this couldn't be further from the truth. If you've been doubting yourself or your dreams, try implementing these 4 simple steps today :)

1- Believe in yourself. Henry Ford once said: "Whether you think you can, or you think you can't - you're right." This is very true. Remember that the only limitations we have in life are the ones we put on ourselves. Once you start believing in yourself and in your ability to pursue your dreams, you'll be setting yourself up for unlimited success.

2- Be ready to invest in it. Dreams don't happen by accident, they become real when you put time, effort, discipline and sometimes money, into making them come to life.

3- Pursue your dream EVERY day. Your dream probably won't manifest in one effort, you have to continually be working toward it. Make sure you're make choices that support your dream or goal in life, even if it means sacrificing comfort or small pleasures.

4- Make it a priority. If you're like me, then you probably have a lot on your plate right now... juggling work, family and friends, all at the same time. That's why it's extremely important that your dream lights fire inside of you when you think of it, so that you actually set aside time to fulfill it and make it a top priority.

An easy way to discover where you're focusing your attention is to look at the past week and write down everything that you did.

When reviewing it, see where your dream fits into your current priorities. Is it a top priority or is it nowhere to be seen?

Remember, making your dreams a priority,
should be a priority :)
